PIWC was founded 35 years ago with a simple vision: to bring together a diverse yet like-minded community of women who call this beautiful island home. As the oldest and only volunteer group of its kind in Phuket, we sustain a rich legacy of community and we look forward to an exciting future for the group.
More than 130 members from over 35 countries… many of whom have worked across a broad range of industries and bring their unique skills and energy to PIWC. Together, we share experiences that enrich our lives and strengthen our bonds.
There are many reasons to join, and so many more to stay!

PIWC is a good organization to meet some new friends, and then you slowly start to help out. I have seen a lot of changes in Phuket over the last 35 years, and I'm very proud when I meet the kids who have graduated and become leaders in their communities.

We moved to Phuket in 2023 for retirement, I was really lost with no friends and relatives; then I joined PIWC, met a group of friendly ladies, now we are like sisters. The best!

I arrived in Phuket in the late 1980's. I joined PIWC to help raise money for the kids scholarships and to make friends. It was a much smaller group back then and we all just met at each others houses. It's great to see how much the group has grown.

I joined because I thought I may be able to help with ensuring that underprivileged children are helped with scholarships to further their education. It has been a very rewarding experience in that respect, as well as meeting many like minded people who are also members.

I joined PIWC to meet new and international people. Thanks to them I've learned to play Mahjong with my new friends and I love it. I really appreciated we are helping Phuket kids with education scholarships through our small personal contributions each time we are all together. Thank you PIWC for organizing so many activities and helping so many children.
